Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.681

Hello again painting fans.

This week I will be continuing with the Chincoteague shingle style house painting. The photo that I'm using is seen directly below. I'll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6x6 inch canvas.

When last seen the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

I've concentrated most of my efforts on the room extending forward from the body of the house. I've now completed the facade including the windows and area directly above. On the right side of the house I have revised the siding with a lit area below and shadow above. Finally, the small covered area extending from the right side has been completed.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

I'll have more progress to show you next week. See you then.

I have continued to add various elements to the house, all below the roofline. Note the revised siding and second story windows. Out in front, the extended portion has received the same treatment, including the foundation. Finally, the fence and house to the left have received an additional layer of paint.

Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.678

Hello again painting fans.

This week I will be continuing with the Chincoteague shingle style house painting. The photo that I'm using is seen directly below. I'll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6x6 inch canvas.

When last seen the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

Starting at the top, I've done work on the roof and dormers. The windows are in place and the front dormer casts a nice shadow on the lit surface of the roof. Below, I have added to the front windows, first story gable and supporting piers at the base. The fence and house to the left have also received a base layer.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

I'll have more progress to show you next week. See you then.
