Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.598

Hello again painting fans.

This week I will be continuing with the Cold Spring, NY street scene. The photo that I'm using is seen directly below. I'll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6x6 inch canvas.

When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

I've continued to refine the facade of the two houses. The windows have been slightly realigned and painted in a lighter shade of blue. The front of the porch now shows the characteristic brackets at the top of the posts. Under the eaves the shadow lines have been refined. At ground level. the bushes have been repainted as has the one in the rear. It's almost done.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

I'll have more progress to show you next week. See you then.

Hello again painting fans.

I'll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6x6 inch canvas.

When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

There are several notable changes for this week's cycle. First amongst these is the revision of the car. It has been thoroughly updated from the hot roddish prior look. Alongside, the fence has been darkened a bit. I've done some work on the porch and railings along the steps. The railings now appear lit against the dark steps. Up at roof level, the eaves have been lengthened a bit on each structure. Finally, the greenery has been overpainted and enhanced at a number of locations.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

I'll have more progress to show you next week. See you then.

Hello again painting fans.

There are several changes this week. I've done some work on the windows on the lit portions of the houses. All are now placed but still incomplete. I've also added to the railing along the front steps, also incomplete at this time. However, most of this week's effort was spent revising the car out front. And even after spending some time doing that, I will revise it yet again for next week's cycle.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

I'll have more progress to show you next week. See you then.

Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.595

Hello again painting fans.

This week I will be continuing with the Cold Spring, NY street scene. The photo that I'm using is seen directly below.

I'll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6x6 inch canvas.

When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

There are a number of changes for this week's cycle. Starting at the top, I've added a layer of brown paint to the various roof sections. Moving down to the the shadowed portions of the siding, I've revised the blue. It is now far lighter in color and with a bit of variation. The porch has received similar changes. Some paint has been added to the lawn and trees. Finally, the partial car at the far left edge has also been revised.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

I'll have more progress to show you next week. See you then.
