Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.413
This week I will be continuing with the painting of the Porsche 928. The photo that I am using is seen directly below. I will be using my usual acrylics on an 11x14 gallery-wrapped canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time, I have continued working on the painting.
Finally, I can show you the reflections, such as they are. Since last time they have gone through 2 further evolutions only to go back to a simpler, earlier look. (I attempted the reflections 4 times, I believe.) I'm now reasonably happy with them although they do not quite appear as they do in the photo. I've also finished the headlights. They have their own reflections on the chrome and painted parts. Note that the body reflections continue up onto the windshield. There is still much to do but I have turned the corner on this one.
The current state of the painting is seen directly below.
I'll have more progress to show you next week. See you then.
Earlier paintings in this series can be seen here.

Turned the corner, indeed. That has to be a good feeling.
I bought my brother's Miata while on vacation last week. I should take it to a scenic overlook, get a pic, and send it to you for your next painting. ;-)
