Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.300 Blogiversary
This week I'll be continuing with the painting of the Pink House in Cape May, New Jersey. I will be using the photo seen directly below. I'm working on an 8x10 canvas in my usual acrylic paints.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
Unfortunately, we are still without our DSL this week, and it will continue this way for a few days yet. Dialup truly sucks. Perhaps we'll have DSL later on this week. Sigh.
Now as to the painting. I've made many changes. At the lower portion of the canvas, I've finished the steps and railings. In front, the bushes are now complete with higlights and shadows. On the upper right, the trim is now complete. I've also gone over the sky once again. The painting is now complete.
The current and final state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
That's about it for now. Next week I'll have a new piece to show you. See you then. As always, feel free to add photos of your own work in the comments section below.
Earlier paintings in this series can be seen here.

Wow, the bushes really look detailed, and the colors really pop compared to last week!
Thanks Far! On to the next one!
