Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.418

Hello again painting fans.

This week I will be with the painting of the Holbrook service station. The photo that I will be using is seen directly below. I will be using my usual acrylics on an 8x8 gallery-wrapped canvas.

When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

I've continued to refine the building. It now appears in white with defining gray shadowed areas. Windows now punctuate the exterior. Things are starting to take shape. Above, the sky has lost its orange outlines. There is much left to do but you can get a good idea of how this will go.

The current state of the painting is seen directly below.

I'll have more to show you next week. See you then.

Earlier paintings in this series can be seen

I like the clouds the way they are. Maybe a little more definition around the edges, but they're great clouds. Looking forward to next week's!

Thanks! Too late, but they'll get better.
