Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.417

Hello again painting fans.

This week I will be with the painting of the Holbrook service station. The photo that I will be using is seen directly below. I will be using my usual acrylics on an 8x8 gallery-wrapped canvas.

When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

Things went a little slowly this week. I did manage to cover some of the white expanses. The sky has received its first layer of paint. Paint now fills the spaces between the 2 large clouds. Below, the line of shrubs has been painted on either side of the station. Below that, the foreground has received some paint as well.

The current state of the painting is seen directly below.

I'll have more to show you next week. See you then.

Earlier paintings in this series can be seen

Heh. It's been hard to find much time to paint but things will get better. I hope your week is productive, Larry.
