Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.565
This week I will be continuing with the Nyack, New York painting. I am using the photo seen directly below. The scene is Main street in Nyack, New York, a historic town on the Hudson River. I'll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6x6 inch canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
I have continued to add to the various elememts of the scene. Starting in the street, the roadway and 2 cars now appear with an initial layer of paint. The partial foreground car has a window and chrome surround. To the far rear, the two distant trees now have some green paint. The building facades have received multiple layers of paint, starting with yellow and overpainted with blue. The nearest building to the right clearly shows the result of that process.
The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
