Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.347
This week I'll be continuing with the Sedona, Arizona roadway scene. The photo that I am using is seen directly below. I'll be using my usual acrylic paints on an 10x10 inch canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
At the outset, note that the camera has, once again, darkened the painting. Rather dramatically, I'm afraid. On to the changes. The details of the roadway have been put into place including the yellow markings. The large central median is actually a traffic circle and has been delineated to reflect this. The two signs to the right are complete with the blue one much closer to rectangular than in the previous cycle. The buildings of the middle ground are complete. I've left things simple to help add the illusion of distance. I've also adjusted that white fence again. The painting is now complete.
The current state and final state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
That's about it for now. Next week I'll have a new painting to show you. See you then. As always, feel free to add photos of your own work in the comments section below.
Earlier paintings in this series can be seen here.

Nice finish! Interesting, the way it all seems to click together once the middle part was done.
Thanks Larry! I'm happy with this one and feel a bit reenergized. The prior 2 kinda sucked.
