Saturday Painting Palooza Volume 330

Hello again painting fans.

This week I'll be with the painting of the Physick Estate in Cape May, New Jersey. It is seen in the photo directly below. I'll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 12x12 inch canvas.

When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

I didn't make as much progress as I would have liked but there are a few significant changes. The porch posts are now (finally) straight. Compare both photos and the difference become readily apparent. I've also continued to clean up the facade, most noticably the upper tower to the right. I've also begun to add paint to the tree to the right. I've even sprinled a few spots on the large tree to the left. You'll have to use your imagination for that one.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

That's about it for now. Next week I'll have more progress to show you. See you then. As always, feel free to add photos of your own work in the comments section below.

Earlier paintings in this series can be seen here.

It's actually a huge improvement. The house no longer seems like a bunch of drunks leaning against each other, it looks like a house!
