Saturday Painting Palooza Vol.321

Hello again painting fans.

This week I'll be continuing with the painting of the Cape May, New Jersey shingle style house. It is seen in the photo directly below. (I'm using my usual acrylic paints on an 8x8 inch canvas.)

When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

I've continued working on the front steps. They now have shadowing to the right side. I've left the openings where the white lit portions show through. I've continued to the sidewalk, which now has its first coat of paint. It is currently slightly green but will change before this is done.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

That's about it for now. Next week I'll have more progress to show you. See you then. As always, feel free to add photos of your own work in the comments section below.

Earlier paintings in this series can be seen here.

Nice shadowing work. That's one of those things I'd try to overdo & get wrong because I'd try to lay stripes of sunlight in the shadows on the ground.

And now that you've got the sidewalk painted, we can walk by and have a closer look, right?

Thanks Far! Yep, you can get really close now. But things looks better if you keep your distance. ;-)

Next on to the bushes.
